The GMT-Master of the jet age — created in the 1950s at Pan Am's request so its pilots could track two time zones as intercontinental flight became reality, and produced for over twenty years. The 24-hour hand and rotating bezel were the original two-time-zone solution, and this reference wore them through the entire golden era of air travel. A genuine piece of aviation history.
All purchases are completed in person at your exchange counter. “Reserve This Watch” sends a request to our team — it lets us know you're interested, but it doesn't lock down the watch. A watch is only held once a $2,000 deposit or purchase is made at the store, and the store team confirms it with us from there.
Yes — with a $2,000 deposit, made at the store. The same $2,000 deposit applies across the board: holding a watch, viewing a high-value piece in person, and transferring a watch from another base.
Zero sales tax.
The MILITARY STAR® card is accepted, along with the exchange's standard payment methods. We do not offer layaway.
Yes. Transfers require the same $2,000 deposit. Requests placed before 12 PM Eastern ship the same day via FedEx Priority Overnight. We do not ship Friday through Sunday — late-week requests go out Monday.
Counter pickup is preferred. In extenuating circumstances there are situations where we may ship directly to you — please contact us.
Absolutely. We work with deploying and PCSing service members all the time. Once a watch is paid for we can ship it most anywhere; depending on the destination, additional shipping fees may apply, and some delivery addresses may involve local customs charges or import fees on your end.
Every pre-owned watch goes through a multi-stage inspection. We source only from a limited number of trusted suppliers. On arrival, the case, band, bezel, and dial are inspected — many fakes are caught right here. The watch then goes on a timegrapher to read its “vitals” and estimate what service it needs. From there it passes to our in-house Swiss-trained watchmakers, who timegraph it again, open the caseback, and inspect the movement to verify each part for authenticity — the movement is where a Rolex proves itself. Once authenticated, the exterior is polished as needed and the movement receives a full overhaul — a highly technical cleaning, replacement, and lubrication process — before the watch is reassembled and regulated against the timegrapher until it runs exactly as it should. Its Identification Report is your watch’s birth certificate: it lays out every detail of what you’re buying.
It means your watch has been through the full authentication process described above, by us. Keep in mind we legally cannot say “verified by Rolex” — we are not Rolex® or an authorized Rolex® dealer.
Every watch comes with its Identification Report, a Collectors Timepieces box, a Collectors Timepieces watch winder, an owner's handbook, and a polishing cloth.
Watches are sized to the industry standard — 6.5 inches for ladies and 7.5 inches for men's. If the watch doesn't fit, we'll provide up to one additional link; any further links for sizing must be purchased. Where additional links are not available, the watch is listed “as-is” and priced accordingly.
Every pre-owned Rolex® is covered by WLXT's 2-year limited warranty, covering all mechanical issues for 2 years from purchase. Water damage is not covered — Rolex® watches are water-resistant when the crown is screwed down, so water damage is almost always preventable. Warranties are provided by WLXT, LLC, not Rolex®; Epicurus is not an official Rolex® retailer or service center.
Every watch is inspected, serviced, and running as it should — but pre-owned means pre-owned, and some of our pieces date back to the 1960s and 70s. Certain traits of an honest vintage watch can't be changed: band stretch, dial fade, deep dents or dings, and natural patina on metal. Each watch is priced according to its condition.
These words identify parts that were not installed, manufactured, or set by Rolex® — most commonly diamond dials and diamond bezels. It does not mean fake: our custom bezels and dials use genuine materials and real diamonds; they simply were not set by Rolex®, and are never claimed to be genuine Rolex® parts. Where any other part (a crystal, a link) is aftermarket out of necessity, it is explicitly stated on the listing. One important note: Rolex® will decline to service a watch with aftermarket parts. If you ever want your watch returned to factory configuration, we can arrange the sale and installation of a factory bezel and dial.
Yes — we buy watches, and existing customers can trade in toward a piece of equal or greater value. Email us to start a sell or trade-in request.
No — watch pricing is the same at every exchange location we serve.
All sales are final. In rare, specific circumstances — a defect we cannot repair, or inaccurate information on our part — we will make exceptions.
